MIDDLE SCHOOL
Enjoyable first day of science. We packed alot into our hour and twenty minutes! Our first order of business was to set up our notebooks (great job-everyone had their notebooks!!). I gave each student a syllabus for the coming school. Parents please look at these. This is a tentative schedule of the coming year. I say tentative because somethings will take longer then others. We started with measuring and for some this was a newer concept, therefore we will also spend week 2 on measuring and becoming comfortable with a ruler.
The majority of discussion was spent on discussing the metric vs. the English system. We also introduced atoms, molecules, elements and the periodic table of elements.
