HOMEWORK:
Monday: What determines the rate of rusting?
1. Place several iron nails on wet paper towel, and cover with another wet paper towel.
2. On a separate paper towel repeat the above, except sprinkle salt liberally on the nails and paper towels.
3. Allow both to remain undisturbed till Wednesday. At the end of this period, observe and compare the amount of rusting for each.
Tuesday: Finish Bonding Basics Review worksheet.
Wednesday: Look at both iron nails. Draw both iron nails and write a sentence on each describing the amount of rusting.
Thursday: Finish Section B and Section C worksheets. Study for quiz!!
CLASS:
We completed our experiment with our electron hats-pics to follow:) We then did many examples with ionic and covalent bonding. Please keep me posted with questions or comments!

ReplyDeleteTetanus is a disease that comes from being punctured by rusty objects. Look it up, and then ask your Mom if you got your tetanus shot.
