Homework:
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday: I sent home two worksheets a crossword puzzle and an bonding worksheet. Please complete the crossword puzzle. We were not able to cover as much material in class as I hoped, therefore, if the bonding worksheet is confusing DO NOT worry about completing it. We will finish up our discussion this Friday and everything will make perfect sense:)
Thursday: Please study for the quiz!!
Class Re-Cap:
We dived into discussion of valence electrons (electrons in the outer shell). The importance of this lies in how elements bond. After our discussion and some examples we began assembling our valence electron hats. We only did one brief sample with the hats and will do more this Friday-Pictures to follow!!
