Physical Science:
This week went by fast. We were only able to complete one of the experiments that they prepped for. Weather was not right for the first one and we ran out of time for the second. In the first experiment the students tested the concept of sweat cooling off our bodies. We then had a discussion of Module #2 which introduces concepts for greenhouse effect and global warming.
HOMEWORK:
Monday- read pgs. 36-42. Complete Study Guide (pg. 55) # 1 a-e, 2-4
Tuesday - read pgs. 43-51 Complete Study Guide (pg. 55) #5-10
Wednesday - Complete Study Guide (pg. 55) # 11-13, 16-20
Thursday - Draw a circle graph (colored) of the air we breath

Biology:
We spent the majority of time going through Module #5. We did some group time making cards and spent the last minutes spending the game Taboo with the cards we had made. There is alot of information coming fast. We need to get these new words in our heads. Hopefully, this will help cement this new vocabulary.
HOMEWORK:
Monday - Read pgs. 146-150. Draw the chemical formula and the structural formula for glucose and fructose (pg. 149). Tell me how they are similar and how they are different.
Tuesday - Read pgs. 151-158. Complete Study Guide (pg. 164) #15-21
Wednesday - Read 159-161. Complete Study Guide (ph. 164) # 22-24.
Thursday - Draw DNA, Read experiment 5.2 (pg. 157) Ready to complete this on Friday.

Last week we did #9-14 of module 5, now this week we are supposed to do #5-21 and #22-24 of module 5... this would be repeating some of what we did last week... so I'm confused! please explain this again... maybe i just read something wrong?
